Climate & Seasons

Astore's altitude (2,100m valley floor, 4,000m+ in upper regions) creates cool summers and cold winters. The valley receives more precipitation than drier Skardu, creating lush vegetation. Minimarg can receive heavy snow; access is seasonal.
